Insulated Ice Bags – Compact, Durable Ice Storage for Your Boat
With bluefin tuna now more abundant and a near year-round game fishing season, having a dedicated supply of ice onboard has become essential —not just for tuna, but for any fish species. Rapidly chilling your catch ensures the highest possible flesh quality, and bulk ice is increasingly accessible around the country.
We’ve custom-designed these insulated ice bags specifically for storing ice onboard. Made here in New Zealand, they feature a drain hole at the base, two heavy-duty straps for easy handling on deck, and a tough, collapsible design so they can be folded down and tucked away once empty—saving valuable space onboard.
We’ve used these bags ourselves over the past few seasons, and they’ve proven to be reliable, practical, and efficient. Simply transfer ice from your ice bag to your main fish bin or insulated bag as needed, without wasting space or having loose ice rolling around on deck.
Available in two sizes, both are designed to carry a generous load of ice. And if you don’t fill the bag, just lay a towel over the top to help trap cold air—your ice will stay frozen for days.
